DJC Halo Halo in Legazpi near Pacific Mall

DJC Halo Halo is a famous place for the heat-quenching Halo-Halo! The store is located in Landco Business Park which is only a few meters away from the Pacific Mall. If you are planning to visit Legazpi, make sure to drop by the place. They are really bragging about their "creamy, delicious, home-made Halo-Halo".

The Place 

The place is casual enough to make you feel comfy, but it still a bit disorganized with all the boxes around. However, what you may find comforting is that DJC is air-conditioned; hence, you won't be battling with the heat as you enjoy the Halo-Halo!

The Halo-Halo Experience 

DJC's Original Supreme Halo-Halo (P85):

This Halo-Halo contains an ube ice cream, crushed ice, ube, leche flan, mais, gulaman, mini sago, saba and cheese.

Unlike Razon's Halo-Halo which is prominent for its simplicity in terms of the number of ingredients, DJC is known for the ultimate and unique flavors of varying ingredients. While this may be favorable for some, it may be the opposite for a few.

Admittedly, I was able to enjoy the first few spoonful, but because of the complexities of flavors, it became overwhelming at some point. In order to avoid this, try to have someone to share with. As for the taste, what I find somehow unique was the addition of the grated cheese, since it made the overall flavor interesting. However, what I didn't like was the excessive sweetness probably brought about by a lot of sweet ingredients. Nevertheless, I was able to appreciate it.
