Still on our Binondo Food Trip P250-Challenge, we decided to search for a desserts place after our 3rd Food Stop in The Original Sa Lido Restaurant. However, some of us were craving for a fried siopao. Coincidentally, while going back from Sa Lido restaurant, we came across this humble place that sells them. I'm not sure, but the only signage they have is "Shanghai Fried Siopao", so I assume this is the name of hte place.

Anyway, they are selling fried siopao at an affordable price of P17.

I can tell that they were freshly cooked because of the warmness of the siopao. One of my food trip buddies even had his siopao fall off from his hand because of the extreme temperature. Awwww.

Judging from this photo, the filling looks very delicious and probably has a hint of herb taste. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the mood to have a fried siopao, so I just asked my friends what they can say about it. They all noted that they liked how it tasted, and thought it was "sulit".
